At age 50, I’m 3 years into “the change”, having successfully reached menopause about 18 months ago. I don’t like to think of myself as aging, and I consider myself youthful in every sense of the word...at least I did until my body started behaving otherwise. My female hormones have presented me with challenging highs and lows for as long as I can remember, and menopause has shown up like the grand finale at the end of a long fireworks display!

In the days leading up to Young Living’s 2010 Grand Convention my symptoms were fairly severe and extremely uncomfortable. After having intense hot flashes every 45 minutes or so (with the added joy of night sweats) for about 3 weeks, and experiencing significant sleep deprivation, I arrived in Salt Lake City for convention a little less than enthusiastic and ready for a miracle.
